Natural Remedies for Fungal Infection

Fungal infection is one of the common infection. It may include ringworm, athlete’s foot, and yeast infections. It is very unhygienic, here are some home remedies that will help you to fight the fungal infection.

Coconut oil

It is very helpful to prevent the fungal infection. Apply the coconut oil directly on the affected area and moisturize the skin. It also prevents future fungal infections. Apply it thrice a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Apple Cider Vinegar has anti-fungal properties. It can treat itchiness and dryness. It helps to neutralize the pH and fight infection. Take a cotton swab and apply some drops of the apple cider vinegar, apply it on to the affected areas. After 15 minutes wash it off. Apply it thrice a day.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil for fungal infection

Tea Tree Oil has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It can reduce inflammation. Mix one tablespoon of tea tree oil with coconut oil and apply it on the affected areas.

Garlic

Garlic is a great ingredient to treat your infection. Crush the garlic cloves and make the paste. Add coconut oil in it and apply a thin layer in the infected areas. Cover it with a light cotton cloth and rinse after 2 hours.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties. It will help fight fungal infections. The Aloe Vera gel has cooling properties, which will soothe the skin. Extract the gel from the aloe Vera leaf. Apply the gel onto the affected areas. Apply it twice a day.

Turmeric

Turmeric for fungal infection

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties. It can cure fungal infections. Take half a tablespoon of turmeric and add some water or coconut oil in it. Make a paste of it and apply it on the skin and let it dry. Wash it with water.
