This symbol OM is composed of three sounds a-u-m which represents the several triads. In Hinduism chants or prayers, this symbol is uttered at the beginning and at the end. The Shaivites mark the Lingam with the symbol of OM. This syllable is discussed in various speculative philosophical texts and is also used in the practice of yoga. Spiritual gurus also use this syllable in the techniques of auditory meditation.

Spiritual gurus follow the concept of infinity and conclude that our soul is eternal. There is a no beginning or ending and it is the eternal life which is beyond existence and also beyond essence. If you can understand the eternity then you also can find the meaning of life. What we do also come to us in the latter part of life and this hence it is like a zero where there are no ends.
